Reception of Special has been cool to say the least. That’s why we made an exclusive version of Special, called Secure Comprehensive Interface for Affecting Linux Empirically Rad, or just ‘Specialer’. With Specialer, we really tried to remove the distractions from using a shell. Yes, we took out spell checker because of everybody’s complaining. But we think you will be excited about our new, reduced feature set for keeping you focused on what needs it the most. Please start an instance to test your very own copy of Specialer.

Solution

Launch the instance and login via SSH.

Then you will land a user directory as Specialer.

But this shell has very limited functions.

It’s not possible to read text files using common commands.

I googled if there are other ways to read texts without using these well known commands.

Then, I found a good post explaning about it.

We can use echo to read text files!

First, you set a file as an environment value.

Then you read it using echo.

Likewise, you can check all the files by repeating this.

(If you don’t know how to see the list of a directoy, then use tab key to display them)
